- Oil soluble so cannot be used in water only products. It can be used in small amounts in water based gels that will hold it in suspension.
- Heat stable so can be used in Stage 1 (fat stage) when making creams and lotions.

Skin Care
- Mango Butter is a wonderful emollient that helps to keep the skin well hydrated and moisturised. This helps to reduce the appearance of wrinkles and improve the tone of the skin keeping it supple and radiant.
- It soothes and smoothes very dry and parched skin instantly without leaving any greasy after feel.
- Mango Butter is rich in antioxidants
- Gentle enough for use on babies, it can help with cradle cap and is a good barrier against nappy rash.
- Irritated skin will benefit from the gentle soothing action of Mango Butter whilst it protects the skin from external aggressors.
- In soap making, it produces a hard bar with a stable, conditioning lather.
Hair Care
- When used in hair conditioners and hair packs, Mango Butter encourages healthy hair growth by nourishing the scalp and giving volume to the hair shaft.
- It conditions and moisturises very dry and over processed hair and reduces breakage.
- It is excellent for taming frizzy hair and regular use restores flexibility to brittle and coarse hair by conditioning and smoothing out the keratin on the hair shaft.
- Mango Butter conditions the scalp.
- In hair masks and packs, it can help to remove excess sebum from the scalp and hair leaving it cleaner and soft without feeling greasy or sticky. In a rinse off formulation, it does not leave the hair feeling lank or heavy.
